The director/Choreographer was my wife at the time. Prior to the premier we would test material at various malls around the tri-state to determine what worked and what didn't. Rodger Hess and Jamie Cohan were indeed the Producers. We toured the US multiple times during the late seventies and my involvement ended in 1982 in Great Barrington, MA. Many of the dancers went on to perform in such Broadway Musicals as "A Chorus Line", "Dancin'", "Cats" and many more. The Bugs Bunny shows you mention were spinoffs of the original and not nearly as successful. Several of the original cast members have passed away, but there are still many performers with whom I am in contact to this very day. By the way, I was "Doc'" as in "What's Up Doc'".

Sincerely,

Schahan TchaprasteArmensha1https://www.blogger.com/profile/05846649799565954168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6611875170009784219.post-84048598905314550882020-02-29T09:18:10.089-05:002020-02-29T09:18:10.089-05:00Thanks for mentioning your piece, Andy! I was brought on-board as a marketing consultant by MSG and Larry Sadoff to create and execute some of the marketing for the Bugs-related tours. I just forwarded this page to Exec Producer Rodger Hess so that he could enjoy it too. 30+ years later, I'm still marketing Bugs and Bats for WB and DC. Tanks for the Memories, Doc!

Ken PaulinAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6611875170009784219.post-41899792613801986212012-07-17T07:55:02.242-04:002012-07-17T07:55:02.242-04:00Anonymous - please email me the pictures! It was at night and I can remember the walk to the theatre in Peoria, IL. My dad bought me a Daffy Duck plastic figure that was probably 6 in tall. I have pictures from it. Glad to see an article on it. It was a great memory.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6611875170009784219.post-77186840841020546322011-10-06T01:13:09.706-04:002011-10-06T01:13:09.706-04:00My pleasure, RWNeal!
